We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to vulnerable adults in the community.

About the Role

As a Project Worker, you will be responsible for offering daily support to help promote independent living to adults who may present with challenging behaviors. You will work with and support adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and other additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues
  • Work with adults to promote independent living and address challenging behaviors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality support is provided
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Some knowledge or experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or mental health issues (although not essential)Level 2 in Health and Social Care (preferable, but training will be provided)Ability to work flexibly, including days, evenings, and alternate weekends, plus sleep insAccess to your own vehicle (ideally)
