About the RoleAs a Project Worker, you will be working with adults who have learning disabilities, mental health issues, and other additional needs. Your primary responsibility will be to offer daily support to help promote independent living and provide a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, and other additional needs
- Work with individuals to promote independent living and provide a safe and supportive environment
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Some knowledge or experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or mental health issues (although not essential)
- A Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (preferably) or a willingness to undertake training
- The ability to work flexibly, including days, evenings, and alternate weekends, plus sleep ins
- Access to your own vehicle (ideally)
