The Digital Commerce Specialist will assist the Head of Marketing & Brand at Axiom Hospitality, along with the Commercial and Hotel Teams, in achieving the projected revenue for our hotel portfolio by executing a robust E-Commerce strategy.

This role involves close collaboration with external partners and agencies to implement strategic marketing initiatives aimed at maximizing return on investment (ROI) while analyzing data analytics to assess performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated history of successful marketing campaigns and the capability to utilize performance metrics to guide strategic decisions. They should be able to present examples of impactful campaigns and engagement strategies, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the market landscape. The candidate will exhibit strong creativity, innovative thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance all digital platforms and listings for the hotels.
  • Manage the functionality and user experience of hotel websites and channels.
  • Drive conversions through targeted campaigns and digital initiatives.
  • Supervise the production and performance of multimedia content.
  • Maintain website performance and track data analytics.
  • Monitor and allocate digital marketing budgets.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify and define target audiences.
  • Manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising in collaboration with the designated digital agency.
  • Assess and review marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO to ensure optimal mediums are utilized for strong ROI.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing marketing activities and performance statistics.
  • Stay informed about the broader hotel business and current commercial strategies and promotions.
  • Understand the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics.

Core Skills and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the hotel or hospitality sector.
  • Preferred qualifications in E-Commerce and Digital Marketing.
  • Proven experience in developing comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns, including project management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing and performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of programmatic, meta, and native online advertising.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques, including paid social media and customer communication channels.
  • Ability to identify specific action steps, responsibilities, and timelines for tasks, with a strong sense of accountability for achieving results.
  • Adaptability and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Builds trust and confidence through authenticity, ethical standards, and commitment to follow-through.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Proactively seeks to enhance skills and knowledge independently.
