Job Title: Senior Investment Manager - Debt Fund

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Investment Manager to join our Debt Fund team in Manchester. As a Senior Investment Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of debt investments, providing financial analysis and due diligence, and working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of debt investments, including origination, structuring, and negotiation of loan agreements
  • Provide financial analysis and due diligence on potential investments, including review of financial statements and credit reports
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their financial needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, clients, and other partners
  • Contribute to the development of our Debt Fund strategy and business plan
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports, including financial statements and investment performance metrics
  • Collaborate with our Portfolio Director and Fund Principal to ensure alignment with our investment objectives and risk management strategies
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports to investors, including financial analysis and commentary
  • Participate in internal and external audits, as required
  • Perform other duties as required to support the success of our Debt Fund

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in debt finance, including experience in origination, structuring, and negotiation of loan agreements
  • Strong financial analysis and due diligence skills, including experience with financial statements and credit reports
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Driving license and ability to travel as required
  • IT literate, including experience with CRM systems and other financial software
