About The Role

The Financial Operations Coordinator will work very closely and report into the Finance Director, and will be busy maintaining accurate and efficient financial operations. This role is essential for ensuring our agency's financial processes run smoothly and support our continued growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Banking and Reconciliation: Conduct weekly reconciliation of six business accounts and report variances.
  • Expense Management: Review expenses for accuracy and VAT compliance and manage Expend statements in Paprika.
  • Accounts Payable: Input and reconcile supplier invoices, handle supplier queries, and prepare monthly payment runs.
  • Accounts Inbox: Monitor and prioritize queries, ensuring all emails are answered daily.
  • Ledgers and Balance Sheet: Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, and accruals.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Reconcile shifts, monitor expenses, and coordinate bonuses.
  • Ad Hoc and Reporting: Compile data for client reports and support client-facing teams.
  • Stock and Inventory Management: Manage and organize stock inventory and logistics, ensuring everything is tracked and accurate - This is a very important aspect of the role and will require previous experience.

Candidate Requirements and Skillsets

  • Location: London - Commutable distance to Shoreditch office
  • Work Experience: At least 1 to 2 years in brand experience, staffing, or field marketing agency.
  • Microsoft Excel Experience: Minimum intermediate proficiency.
  • Balance Sheet Review Experience: Minimum 1 year.
  • Software Experience: Previous experience with Paprika.
  • Skills: Intermediate Excel skills; strong communication and attention to detail; critical thinker and analytical, problem solver with a proactive approach.
  • Qualities: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to naturally forge relationships with team members; confident and energetic presence.
  • Mindset: Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
