Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences

We are seeking a highly qualified Associate Dean to join our Arts and Sciences Division at Southeast Community College. The successful candidate will provide leadership and support to faculty, oversee program management, and contribute to strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and evaluate faculty within the Arts and Sciences Division
- Assist in the hiring and orientation of full-time faculty
- Develop and implement plans for faculty professional development
- Manage program budgets and oversee program review
- Collaborate with other Associate Deans and program chairs on strategic planning and initiatives
- Represent the program at recruitment events and provide information to students and faculty
- Master's degree in an Arts and Sciences discipline or a related field
- Three years of teaching experience at the secondary or post-secondary level
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in education
- Additional graduate coursework in other Arts and Sciences disciplines and/or Educational Administration
- Five years of teaching experience at the post-secondary level
- Supervisory experience at the post-secondary level
- Direct supervision of faculty
- Experience with enrollment management and institutional research
