Service Management Configuration Lead

We are seeking a confident individual to take the role of ITIL Service Lead, to oversee the provision of excellent IT customer services across the force.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee end-user support in the live environment
- Ensure effective vendor management to maximise value and manage contracts and supply chain
- Lead incident and problem management to establish root cause analysis and resolution
- Manage change and configuration to enable beneficial changes with minimum disruption
- Ensure accurate information about technology assets and protect the integrity of the live environment
- Assess readiness and make recommendations on go-live, early-life support, and service acceptance
- Significant experience in overseeing IT change and/or release management in a large organisation
- Competence in best practice change management methodologies
- Experience in managing asset (software and hardware) and working knowledge of TCP/IP and firewalls
- ITIL v3 or v4, a recognised project management qualification, and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and communication skills
