We are seeking a confident individual to take the role of ITIL Service Lead, to oversee the provision of excellent IT customer services across the force.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee end-user support in the live environment
  • Ensure effective vendor management and contract maximization
  • Lead incident and problem management, including root cause analysis and resolution
  • Manage change and configuration, ensuring minimal disruption to IT services
  • Ensure accurate information about technology assets and infrastructure
  • Make recommendations on go-live, early-life support, and service acceptance
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in overseeing IT change and/or release management in a large organization
  • Competence in best practice change management methodologies
  • Experience in asset management and working knowledge of TCP/IP and firewalls
  • ITIL v3 or v4, a recognized project management qualification, and a postgraduate qualification or equivalent experience
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
