Gael Force Marine Equipment is a global leader in the supply of equipment, technology, and services for the farming and catching of healthy, nutritious seafood. We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Innovation Officer to play a key role in driving our company's transformation and delivering our product development program.

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of innovating new technology products for global aquaculture markets. As a Chief Innovation Officer, you will oversee the short, medium, and long-term technical development, strategic direction, and execution of our product portfolio. You will be responsible for building a high-performing team and driving the success of our products globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a product innovation strategy to drive business growth and competitiveness
  • Lead the development of new products and technologies to meet the needs of our customers
  • Manage product lifecycles, from concept to launch, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product development and innovation

Requirements

  • Proven track record of innovating new technology products for global aquaculture markets
  • Experience in product development, product lifecycle management, and technical leadership
  • Strong understanding of digital, software, and engineering disciplines and teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive impact in a matrixed environment
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to prepare investment cases for projects
