SEN Tutor Opportunity

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN tutor to provide bespoke tuition packages to young people without a school placement. As a SEN tutor, you will deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

The ideal candidate will possess QTS or equivalent, UK classroom teaching experience, and be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box. Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to meet individual pupils' needs
  • Work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor pupils' progression and support effective learning
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
