Part Time Community Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a skilled SEN tutor to deliver bespoke tuition packages to young people without a school placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
- Work with pupils who may have low confidence levels due to being out of education for an extended period.
- Monitor pupil progression and work closely with Prospero Teaching to support effective learning.
Contract Details:
- Location: Within the community or pupils' home in Bexley.
- Position: 1:1 SEN tutor.
- Type of work: Contract.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement.
- Contract type: Temporary.
- Full-time/part-time: Minimum rate of pay - £22+ per hour.
Requirements:
- QTS or equivalent.
- UK classroom teaching experience.
- Ability to think creatively and work with SEND or disengaged pupils.
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application.
- Two professional child-related references.
