Job Summary

The Li-ion Processing Team Leader is a key role within EnerSys, responsible for leading a team of experts in the processing of Li-ion cells for various industrial applications, including the space industry. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience in managing teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Li-ion cell processing technicians to ensure the efficient and effective processing of Li-ion cells for various projects.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Cell Engineering Team Leader to define work packages and ensure seamless integration with other teams.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels of Li-ion cells and consumable materials.
  • Support the facility manager in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements

  • BTEC HNC/HND (Level 4/5) in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications or work experience.
  • Practical engineering experience in electrical engineering and Li-ion cell processing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information to internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
