We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join our Commercial team in Nottingham. As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for the effective management of grounds maintenance operations, ensuring that all sites are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Contract Manager and Supervisor in the management of programmed maintenance
- Lead by example with grounds maintenance work, promoting a culture of excellence and safety
- Maintain and manage the security of vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Complete daily check sheets and paperwork to ensure smooth operations
- Support and guide the service delivery team, including grounds maintenance operatives
- Monitor staff timekeeping, holidays, and sickness levels
- Skilled in grounds maintenance operations with a strong understanding of Health and Safety Legislation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Supervisory experience is desirable
- A full clean UK driving licence is required
- Certified in PA1 & PA6 is an advantage
