Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist to join our Post-Acute Medicine team as a Senior Pharmacist. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, leading and delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to patients in post-acute medical and stroke wards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and deliver clinical pharmacy services to post-acute medical and stroke wards, ensuring seamless pharmaceutical care and medicines management.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary team, promoting high-quality, cost-effective, patient-focused pharmaceutical care.
- Develop, implement, and audit local guidelines, ensuring best practice in clinical pharmacy.
- Assist in financial reporting and drug budget management, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Work with the Principal Pharmacist, Post-Acute Medicine, to extend the boundaries of professional practice within the Care Group.
- MPharm (Masters Degree) or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Pharmacist with 1 year competency assessed and examined professional registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Pharmacy Practice or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Working towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice or Clinical Pharmacy.
- Registered Independent Prescriber or willingness to complete.
- Member of the RPS faculty.
