Job Purpose and Summary

Canon EMEA is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Services Operator to join our team. As a key member of our Information Management Services team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our clients by generating high-quality digital content and ensuring accurate document management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate high-volume, high-quality digital content for our clients, adhering to established quality standards and SLAs.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues, providing excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Operate document scanning equipment, including flatbed and automatic document feeders, and complete preparatory work for scanning and document sorting.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in scanning and indexing documents, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach.
  • Index documents with correct categorization information and search through customer data to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform quality control checks on documents entered into the document management system, including indexing and resolution optimization.
  • Ensure hard copy documents are stored appropriately and maintain a clear audit trail.
  • Support the archiving and document retrieval team by manoeuvring and archiving documents, and performing document retrievals that require a courier service.
Requirements
  • IT proficiency, with accurate keyboard and word processing skills, and a good working knowledge of MS Office, including Microsoft Word.
  • Previous experience in document scanning and print room reprographics equipment is desirable, but not essential, as full user training will be provided.
  • Good written English and numeracy skills, with a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a willingness to handle archive boxes up to 15KG.
  • A full and clean driving licence and willingness to drive the company van would be advantageous.
