About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Planner to join their team. As a key member of the company, you will be responsible for working on a variety of residential, commercial, minerals, and solar panel projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive planning strategies to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, including environmental impact assessments and other required documentation.
  • Engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in planning (e.g., RTPI, AICP) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of planning regulations and policies.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
