Role Summary: We are seeking a Senior Education Evaluation Officer to join our esteemed institution. Working closely with the Education Evaluation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in assessing the Learning and Teaching Strategy, focusing on enhancing the student experience and advancing our Access and Participation Plan (APP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain comprehensive reports and dashboards that deliver critical educational performance metrics at various levels including Imperial, Faculty, Department, and program.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of both internal and external data, effectively communicating your findings in both written and verbal formats.
  • Contribute to the formulation of the educational evaluation strategy.
  • Provide support to academic personnel engaged in evaluation processes.
  • Assist in the development, oversight, and assessment of Imperial's APP.
  • Support the preparation of submissions for the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), demonstrating a deep understanding of operational specifics and metrics.
  • Analyze outcomes from the National Student Survey (NSS), create dashboards, and disseminate results.
  • Prepare insightful briefings and analyses.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in analyzing complex datasets and summarizing key themes, with the ability to interpret and clarify intricate information.
  • Familiarity with primary data sources utilized in Higher Education, particularly concerning the student lifecycle.
  • Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in both written and analytical tasks.
  • High level of proficiency in computer applications, including databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the capability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for the Higher Education sector.
