Job Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover)
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader to join our team at our Hove-based nursery. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver a curriculum that is engaging, stimulating, and age-appropriate for children in the nursery.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff members in the nursery.
- Organise the staff in the room, ensuring continuous cover for the children adhering to ratios.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring that they are kept informed about their child's progress and development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring that these records are up-to-date and accessible to parents and carers.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a nursery setting.
- A passion for working with children and providing high-quality care and education.
- All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check.
