Position Overview
Boldyn Networks is in search of a Logistics Operations Supervisor with outstanding expertise and significant experience to manage our inventory and asset oversight across multiple locations. The selected individual will be crucial in guaranteeing the effective and secure functioning of all logistics facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute logistics and inventory strategies that are in line with corporate goals.
  • Supervise and uphold inventory levels across all sites, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage the reception, storage, and distribution of products, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Maintain asset tracking systems to effectively monitor and manage company resources.
  • Collaborate with various departments to anticipate inventory requirements, manage obsolescence, and prepare for peak demand periods.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and risk assessments to pinpoint areas for enhancement, including operational methods and safety practices.
  • Work with supply chain partners to optimize transportation expenses and delivery schedules.
  • Leverage technology to enhance inventory oversight and logistics functions.
  • Prepare and oversee the logistics budget, providing reports on performance indicators.
  • Ensure the safe operation of areas within the logistics facilities, maintaining up-to-date health and safety briefings and logs for visitors and staff.
  • Understand the company's policies and vision, recognizing how logistics contributes to these and developing a long-term strategy for logistics and inventory management.
  • Ensure inventory control systems are current and that stock levels are accurate while planning for future capacity needs.
  • Organize the hiring and training of logistics personnel, while also monitoring employee performance and development.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to assess the quality of service provided.
  • Oversee the scheduled maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment utilized within the facilities.

Qualifications

  • Background in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing inventory across diverse locations.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable in a logistics environment.
  • Proficient in warehouse and inventory management systems as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
