About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Solutions commercial finance team. This is a varied finance role, which will support the Solutions finance team in providing financial analysis and insights to drive business growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting scenario analysis, profitability modelling, and forecasting relating to our Solutions partners.
  • Leading on the Solutions team costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of actual performance.
  • Working closely with the commercial teams who partner with our UK and International partners.
  • Supporting the wider solutions finance team with modelling and analysis across Solutions partners.
  • Business partnering - building effective working relationships with key Solutions stakeholders.
  • Supporting half year and year end audit queries.
  • Ensuring financial controls are effectively performed.
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to support business decisions.

About You

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with a strong foundation in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting. You should have experience of reporting period management accounts, analysis, and providing insightful commentary. Proficiency in advanced Google Sheets and Excel functionalities is also essential.

You should have strong commercial and financial acumen, with a proven track record of driving results. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive deep into details to identify key performance drivers, are also required.

Prior experience in warehouse and logistics operations, and/or online grocery or general merchandise businesses is highly desirable.
