About the Role

Ocado Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Finance Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Logistics Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting our external retailers with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual budget and forecast process, ensuring accurate and timely financial information for our retailers.
  • Prepare periodic reports, including journals, cost allocations, and management information, to provide insights into our financial and operational performance.
  • Deliver clear and actionable commentary on financial and operational metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including our Accounting team, to ensure effective collaboration and drive business results.
  • Review and support capital spend approval requests, ensuring proper controls are in place and driving improvements in business processes and financial controls.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Analyst with a strong background in finance accounting procedures and controls. You will have a proven track record of running a month-end process, including invoices, accruals, and prepayments, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Newly Qualified CIMA / ACA/ ACCA accountant, or qualified by experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of finance accounting procedures and controls.
  • Experience of running a month-end process, including invoices, accruals, and prepayments, as well as balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling large datasets.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial data.
