Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategic Asset Management team as we implement our new Strategic Plan focused on delivering quality housing.
As the Real Estate Asset Analyst, your main responsibility will be to execute our stock rationalization initiative through both reactive and proactive option assessments.
You will play a crucial role in advising on which properties to invest in or divest from, thereby influencing Curo's overall asset portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Analysis and Capital Evaluation:
    Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and capital expenditure assessments to determine the best investment or divestment strategies for our properties.
  2. Data Analysis and Financial Forecasting:
    Utilize data from our housing and asset management systems to track and evaluate the financial performance of our properties.
    Generate accurate financial forecasts and scenario models to guide cost/benefit analyses regarding refurbishment, disposal, or repurposing of assets.
  3. Data-Driven Recommendations:
    Prioritize value for money in your analyses. Investigate the underlying causes of both high and low performance to uncover trends and areas for enhancement.
  4. Maximizing Return on Investment:
    Strive to maximize ROI while ensuring robust financial performance, taking into account broader operational requirements and strategic commitments.
  5. Cross-Team Engagement:
    Collaborate with various departments to collect data and insights for option assessments. Provide recommendations on whether to retain or dispose of assets based on thorough evaluations.
  6. Field Visits and Stakeholder Engagement:
    Conduct property visits to grasp their unique complexities and engage with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure timely progress on agreed transactions and income realization.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, the Real Estate Asset Analyst should possess the following skills and experience:
  • Proven ability to interpret statistical and financial data, make informed decisions, assess risks, and provide appropriate advice.
  • Demonstrated success in managing significant capital and revenue projects, ensuring timely and effective execution.
  • Confidence in analyzing housing data and financial information, with the ability to present findings in clear, understandable reports.
  • Strong experience in producing detailed reports for complex projects to support effective decision-making.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and a strong aptitude for various IT applications.
  • A valid driving license and access to transportation.
