Senior Physiotherapist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our Critical Care team at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Band 7 Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients within your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients within your area of specialty, using a holistic approach.
- Lead and coordinate the Physiotherapy service provided to patients within your specialist area on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) on matters relating to your specialist area.
- Develop and deliver treatment plans for patients with diverse presentations and complex physical, cognitive, and psychological health conditions.
- Collaborate with the Respiratory and Surgical/Vascular Band 7 therapists as an intrinsic member of the MDT.

Requirements- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- HCPC registration
- Postgraduate clinical training (desirable)
- Leadership skills and experience in supervising other staff assistants and technical instructors
- Experience in leading a team in the absence of senior support (desirable)
- Experience in MDT teaching/education (desirable)
