Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Band 7 Physiotherapist. You will be working in a busy but supportive environment, leading a team of physiotherapists and providing specialist care to patients in critical care. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating the clinical service, developing treatment plans, and providing leadership and guidance to colleagues.

Main Duties

Provide specialist assessment, treatment, and advice to patients in critical care, using a holistic approach to maximize patient potential.

Lead the physiotherapy team, working closely with the therapy leads and clinical specialists to plan, coordinate, and deliver the physiotherapy service.

Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues, supporting their professional development and contributing to the team's success.

Person Specification

Essential

Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy

HCPC registration

Desirable

Postgraduate clinical training

Skills/Abilities

Essential

Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and supervision of other staff assistants and technical instructors

Experience/Knowledge

Desirable

Experience in leading a team in the absence of senior support

Experience in MDT teaching/education
