As a key member of the pathology department, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely diagnostic services to patients. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting clinicians in making informed decisions regarding patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide expert histopathological analysis and interpretation of tissue samples.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, pathologists, and laboratory staff.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvements within the pathology department.
- Participate in clinical audit activities to ensure high standards of care and quality assurance.
- Engage in teaching and training activities for technical and nursing staff, as well as medical students.
We are looking for an individual with a strong foundation in histopathology and a proven track record of success in a similar role. Essential criteria include:
- Evidence of broad training and experience in Histopathology
- Experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience of working in regional networks
- Experience of managing & developing services
The ideal candidate will possess:
- In-depth knowledge of histopathological techniques and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of advancements in the field.
