Position Overview: JT Recruit is seeking a dedicated Construction Materials Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring a commitment of at least 40 hours per week, with opportunities for additional overtime.


Work Schedule: Flexibility is essential, as the role may involve weekend and night shifts as necessary. The core working hours are Monday to Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate both semi-automated and automated laboratory equipment.
  • Conduct in-process evaluations to ensure that production batches comply with established specifications.
  • Experience in site testing of asphalt, tarmac, and quarry materials.
  • Proficient in Construction Materials Testing.
  • Hold a valid CSCS Card.
  • Possess a degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with safe working practices in a laboratory environment.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid driving license is required.
