Job Title: PRM and Border Host

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist and guide arriving passengers through the UK Border process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Operate and control the open collector baggage belt, maintaining safety and security for passengers.
  • Monitor the electronic passport gates and ensure they are not left unattended.
  • Manage barriers in the uni-feed to maintain a smooth flow of passengers through the queuing system.
  • Support the Team Leader in implementing decisions and changes.
  • Provide feedback on operational issues and processes to improve performance.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained, allocated, and used correctly.
  • Be flexible with shifts as per business needs.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with people at all levels.
  • Pleasant nature and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy periods.
  • Airport experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • 5 years' vetting required to obtain an airside pass for Edinburgh Airport.
