Senior Capital Project Manager / Head of Capital Projects

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Capital Project Manager to lead our Capital Projects Team. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering complex projects to time and budget, managing estates capital projects, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of multi-million pound capital projects across the Trust
  • Manage estates capital projects, ensuring specifications are scoped in collaboration with building surveying partners and school/college leadership teams
  • Liaise and report on capital and revenue budgets for projects, tracking expenditure, forecasting, and reporting
  • Lead a large and complex team of internal and external project managers and suppliers, working collaboratively with other internal stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance learning environments

Requirements:

  • Experience of professional partnerships and relationships, as well as significant experience in programme management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading large and complex teams
