About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Capital Projects Advisory Director to join our team at Deloitte LLP. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Real Estate practice, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our Capital Projects advisory services.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement delivery strategies for major capital investment programmes* Design and deploy new operating models for capital project delivery* Support clients in digitising the delivery of their major programmes* Help clients re-establish confidence in the delivery of their programmes* Assist clients with asset management improvements* Review the performance of major construction programmes* Build strong, effective working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders* Provide advice and constructive challenge to senior management* Guide delivery teams and support change and communication aspects for larger transformation programmes* Develop thought leadership and proposition to drive awareness and eminence* Drive the development of the Deloitte Infrastructure and Capital Projects communities* Support the recruitment and development of capital projects professionals* Identify opportunities from a sector and client perspective and engage clients on specific external trends* Support the strategy, revenue, and capability management for the team* Develop and implement business development initiatives* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-disciplinary solutions

Requirements

* A professional qualification or equivalent related industry experience that shows understanding of major capital project delivery and/or asset management* A relevant degree and/or a relevant postgraduate qualification, or equivalent* Broad and deep experience of Infrastructure and Capital Projects across different sectors and covering the broad range of capabilities* Strong commercial acumen and market awareness* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Good understanding of financial, business, and asset drivers that relate to capital projects organisations* Confidence and proactivity that can generate momentum for clients and teams during change* Ability to build strong, effective working relationships both internally and externally
