Position Overview – Surface Coating Specialist

Wykes Engineering is in search of a dedicated Surface Coating Specialist to enhance our growing engineering team. We seek an individual with a solid background in surface preparation and the application of coatings to various components and assemblies made from diverse materials.

Key Responsibilities and Experience:

  • Accountable for the preparation, cleaning, priming, coating, and finishing of a variety of metals.
  • Consistently working to high standards to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Performing additional duties within the engineering department as needed.
  • Experience in an engineering setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
  • Exhibiting a flexible approach to all aspects of the role.
  • Effectively managing time and demonstrating excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
