Event Day Chef

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Event Day Chef to join our team on a casual basis. As an Event Day Chef, you will be responsible for providing guests with an exceptional customer experience by serving a variety of food and drinks in our in-house concessions outlets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare hot and cold food at pace to set specification and consistent quality
- Provide excellent service to FOH staff to deliver the best experience to our customers
- Ensure all food standards are delivered and maintained in all operational areas
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others
- Ensure full compliance with all training requirements from Fraser Group
- Ensure full compliance with Food Safety legislation during every shift worked
- Forge and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues
- Participate in stock control procedures to ensure we retain the right stock levels for the business
- Ensure portion control, correct preparation and storage methods, avoiding wastage and keeping down costs
- Ensure all food preparation is carried out in accordance with food hygiene procedures
- Deliver food promptly and work quickly and efficiently to keep up with demand
- Complete all kitchen paperwork per shift
- Ensure kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy and attractive during service
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Ability to follow instruction and work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as assigned
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have worked in a fast-paced kitchen environment previously
- Must hold a Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification
