Company Overview: Resourcing Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Heating and Plumbing Technician to join our dynamic team, providing exceptional maintenance services to our residential properties.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for executing gas repairs, servicing, and plumbing tasks as part of our responsive maintenance teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and emergency repairs safely and effectively, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Execute installation tasks and repairs based on management instructions, whether on a scheduled rate, priced, or daywork basis.
  • Conduct minor adjustments and disconnections of electrical equipment within the scope of training and competence, in compliance with current Health and Safety regulations.
  • Carry out routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing and gas appliances.
  • Occasionally undertake installation projects as required.
  • Complete all necessary documentation, including reports, service sheets, and timesheets, accurately and submit them to the main office promptly after daily tasks.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted in occupied properties with utmost care to prevent damage to tenants' belongings.
  • Maintain a courteous and respectful demeanor towards all tenants and customers at all times.

Candidate Profile: We are looking for individuals who possess:

  • A solid educational background, ideally with GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualifications in plumbing and gas fitting, or demonstrable experience with a lower technical qualification.
  • Current ACS certification (where applicable) including codes CCN1/CENWAT/CKR1/CPA1/HTR1/MET1.
  • Knowledge of building trades and construction practices.
  • A valid UK driving license.
