Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domestic Heating Specialist to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our installation and service team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our growth and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Commissioning: Install heat pump systems in plant rooms, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
  2. Pipework Installation: Install HDPE pipework and demonstrate expertise in fusion welding, as well as installing associated pipework for heat pump supply systems.
  3. Project Supervision: Provide day-to-day supervision of project teams, ensuring smooth project execution and high-quality outcomes.
  4. Health and Safety: Take responsibility for on-site health and safety, aligning with company policies and legislation.
  5. Quality and Compliance: Ensure the quality and compliance of installed systems, meeting or exceeding industry standards.
  6. First and Second Fix: Perform first and second fix work on domestic dwellings and plantrooms, including pipefitting of heating/cooling/hot water distribution systems.
  7. Maintenance and Servicing: Conduct reactive and proactive maintenance of heating systems, as well as basic electrical work on heat pump systems.
  8. Commissioning and Servicing: Commission and service heat pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Person Specification:

  1. Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in plumbing and/or pipefitting.
  2. Qualifications: NVQ level 2 or 3 Plumbing qualification (or similar).
  3. Industry Knowledge: Understanding of regulations and guidelines relating to hot water systems.
  4. Industry Experience: Experience in the renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction industry.

Package:

  1. Salary: Basic salary £40k - £50K (depending on experience).
  2. Annual Leave: 25 Days Annual Leave plus stats.
  3. Phone Contract: £30 monthly contribution to phone contract.
  4. Work Arrangements: Full-time position with a van provided.
  5. Bonus Scheme: Project-specific bonus scheme.
