Dental Laboratory Manager

The University of Bristol is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the delivery of dental technical services in our new dental laboratory facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the laboratory, ensuring the smooth running of our dental production service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Oversee the construction of customised restorations using classic and modern methods
- Manage work that needs to be completed off-site
- Collaborate with the University Dental School and Prosthetics Teaching Laboratory to provide technical support and instruction to dental undergraduate dentists
- Stay up-to-date with the latest materials and techniques, including CAD design, 3D printing, and CAM using milling machines
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in leading or supervising small teams
- Detailed knowledge and significant experience in technical support, preferably in higher education
- Excellent IT skills and working knowledge of relevant specialist dental software
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to devise, review, and deliver complex procedures
- Innovative approach to work and experience of managing continuous improvement
