Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of new electrical systems and devices, both Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV)
  • Modification and rewiring of existing electrical systems, both LV and HV
  • Maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical components for industrial machinery and associated controls
  • Prompt and safe troubleshooting and resolution of electrical issues
  • Adherence to electrical codes and safety regulations
  • Interpretation of technical documents and blueprints for decision-making
  • Conducting quality inspections and testing
  • Collaboration with colleagues and departments regarding electrical challenges and solutions
  • Compliance with procedural guidelines

Required Experience:

  • Testing and inspection experience at an industrial level
  • Proficiency in 18th edition installation standards
  • Relevant technical experience in the electrical field
  • Experience with industrial electrical installations
  • Ability to work at heights

Qualifications and Skills:

  • City & Guilds 2391 qualification in electrical installations and inspections
  • Relevant technical qualifications such as City and Guilds, BTEC ONC (NQF Level 3)
  • JIB certification or equivalent recognized credential
