Childcare Advocate Solicitor

LAW Absolute is working with a local authority in South London to fill a Childcare Advocate Solicitor position on a locum basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled advocate to join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level advice and assistance to the legal department as a Childcare Advocate.
- Work alongside a team of expert Advocates, including trained Barristers and Solicitor Advocates.
- Advocate on a range of cases, including non-accidental injury, child sex abuse, and court of appeal cases.
- Support the Principal Lawyer in reducing expenditure on Counsel.
Requirements
- Previous experience conducting advocacy at final contested hearings lasting at least 5 days.
- A current practising certificate.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver a high-quality service.
- Commitment to this area of law and enthusiasm for working as part of a wider team.
