Bank Chef Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bank Chef to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Bank Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our residents.
About the Role:The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious and delicious menus, working with fresh seasonal produce to deliver hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, working within budget, completing regular audits, and managing stock control.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and managing the kitchen
- Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality dishes
- Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
- Work within budget and complete regular audits
- Manage stock control and assist in leading and motivating a team
- City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification
- Experience in helping lead and inspire a team
- Good understanding of nutrition and experience of working with fresh seasonal food
- Ability to create a warm and welcoming environment within the home
- Good understanding of HACCP
