We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Spire Dunedin Hospital in Reading. As a Bank Chef, you will be responsible for providing high-quality meals to patients, staff, and visitors while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

About the Role:

  • Produce meals for patients, staff, and visitors in a large operation, adhering to centralized standards of preparation, production, and presentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong communication skills.
  • Plan patients' diets as necessary, including the correct utilization of stock, and have a strong knowledge of allergens.
  • Maintain quality assurance and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety at Work regulations, including COSHH and Manual Handling, and be aware of corporate and local safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Previous Chef/Cookery experience is essential.
  • A Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate/qualifications are required for this role, and you must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of this.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are necessary.
