Deputy Manager RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join our Little Angels team. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery and providing exceptional care for our children.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager to provide daily support and guidance to the team.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of nursery policies and procedures, upholding high standards of care and education.
- Make informed decisions regarding the day-to-day operations of the nursery in the absence of the Nursery Manager.
- Supervise and mentor staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of engaging learning activities that promote children's growth and development.
- Maintain effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including Ofsted standards.
- Level 3 Early Years Education qualification or equivalent.
- A comprehensive understanding of the EYFS framework and its implementation in practice.
- Proven experience working as a Deputy Manager or Room Supervisor in a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
