Role Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our growing team on a permanent, full-time basis. Your designs will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and efficiency of our projects. The primary objective is to collaboratively provide accurate and consistent designs that meet budgets and agreed timelines.

The Role

This role offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely, while also providing some flexibility.

Based on a 42.5-hour contract, Monday to Friday, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the direction of Civil/MEICA projects by coordinating support and deliverables from the wider design team and developing clarity for the overall project scope.
  • Producing civil and mechanical designs using project specifications, standard requirements, outline scopes of work, and/or site investigations.
  • Continuously innovating, challenging existing practices, and seeking improvements across projects and designs.
  • Specifying technical plant and machinery to enable less technical procurement members of the company to progress ordering processes.
  • Ensuring additional works are captured by liaising with project managers and commercial teams to review program impacts and assisting in raising compensation events.
  • Attending site visits, both during and after projects, to provide support for technical issues and finalize information.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in civil engineering design. A relevant degree or equivalent qualification is essential, along with proven experience in the field.
