About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality designs for our water and energy projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the direction of Civil/MEICA projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of designs.
  • Develop and maintain project specifications, standard requirements, and outline scopes of work.
  • Collaborate with the design team to innovate and improve project designs.
  • Specify technical plant and machinery for procurement purposes.
  • Ensure additional works are captured and liaise with project managers and commercial teams.
  • Attend site visits to support technical issues and close out information.
Requirements
  • Relevant engineering qualification, such as HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Experience in site general arrangement design, 2D and/or 3D, design project coordination, and civil, mechanical, and structural steelwork design.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk 2D and/or 3D CAD packages and Microsoft packages.
  • Specific water industry-based design experience.
