About the Role

Cavendish Maine is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Handler to join their team in Birmingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse range of commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to Account Executives in managing client portfolios, including contract renewal and setup.
  • Act as the first point of contact for external queries and issues, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to provide a comprehensive insurance service to existing and new customers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of documentation associated with client insurance programs.
  • Contribute to the development of a high company image of professionalism, competence, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous account handling experience in a commercial insurance environment, with relevant technical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Influencing and negotiation skills, with commercial awareness.
  • Ability to assimilate large quantities of information quickly.
