Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in improving our processes and systems to drive speed, quality, efficiency, and experience across our global operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and improve complex operational systems and processes to drive excellence across our operations teams.
  • Tackle highly impactful business problems and priorities by designing and implementing smart solutions that optimize for return on investment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our customers' experience by putting yourself in their shoes and collaborating with stakeholders to drive impact quickly and successfully.
  • Work closely with management and ops team members, leadership, product, systems, and more to develop a short and long-term strategy and roadmap for your area of responsibility.
  • Lead a multi-country operations team, maintain direct responsibility over the output and performance, and oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of the rapidly scaling team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing an operations team in fast-paced environments at a successful company (start-up environment and/or at a global company is a plus).
  • Experience leading and scaling teams.
  • KPI-driven.
  • Experience building great processes and products.
  • Problem-focused, solutions-oriented, and have extreme attention to detail.
  • Lots of energy and practice first principles thinking.
  • Strong analytical skills turning data into insights (SQL skills are a plus) and actions.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves, being hands-on and pragmatic is what makes you and your team successful.
  • Team player and customer-obsessed.
