We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our R&D Department Team at KEF | Kent Engineering & Foundry, a leading manufacturer of high-end loudspeakers and hi-fi systems.

Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer with a passion for audio and music to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in developing and maintaining software applications for embedded systems and/or desktop applications. The role will involve working on a range of projects, including adding features to our existing dsp framework, developing and maintaining applications that aid loudspeaker design, and setting up and maintaining tools and scripts required for the continuous integration and deployment of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Embedded Systems: Develop and maintain software applications for embedded systems, including adding features to our existing dsp framework.
- Desktop Applications: Develop and maintain applications that aid loudspeaker design.
- DevOps: Set up and maintain tools and scripts required for the continuous integration and deployment of our projects.
Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in developing and maintaining software applications for embedded systems and/or desktop applications.
- Skills: Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB, Python, and/or Octave. Experience with object-oriented design and digital signal processing techniques.
- Education: BSc/MSc in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, Acoustics, Physics, etc.
