We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our R&D Department Team at KEF, a world-renowned specialist audio brand. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge audio systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement software features for our active systems using C++ and object-oriented design principles.
  • Develop and maintain existing applications that aid loudspeaker design using Java, MATLAB, and object-oriented design.
  • Setup, maintain, and apply tools and scripts required for the continuous integration and deployment of our projects using Python, Jenkins, Redmine, SVN, and other technologies.
Requirements:
  • Experience writing and reviewing object-oriented code in Java or C++11 and above.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python (SciPy/NumPy libraries), and/or Octave.
  • Embedded systems experience, including writing and reviewing C/C++ code for DSP or MCU.
  • Digital Signal Processing knowledge, including basic processing techniques and first principles.
  • High-level computer literacy on Windows or Linux.
  • Ninja-level command line skills.
  • Proactive attitude to learn new technologies and integrate them into our systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Personal interest in using computers creatively, such as creating or recording music or video.
  • Experience developing apps for Android or iPhone.
  • Understanding of acoustics, mathematics, and/or physics at BSc/MSc level.
  • Electronics skills, including reading schematics and designing PCBs.
