Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Worker to join our team at Touchstone, a multi-award-winning mental health and wellbeing charity. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering an integrated service to offer primary care-based mental health support for individuals with mild to moderate common mental health problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality mental health support to individuals in need, focusing on increasing access to mental health services for those in deprived areas and those who face barriers to accessing support.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a comprehensive service, including assessment, planning, and implementation of support plans.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with Touchstone's values and goals.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in mental health support and related areas.
