Job Description

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst - Insights and Reporting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team as a Data Insights and Analytics Lead. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of our insights reporting data and legacy data marts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define requirements for the implementation of management information reports and oversee the process from liaising with IT teams to provision the required data to production.
  • Devising and delivering analytical/data driven projects.
  • Investigate data, find trends, forecast performance, and provide insightful recommendations.
  • Provide insight/set expectations through targeted analysis, forecasting, and development of regular MI.
  • Maintaining the legacy data marts.
  • Gathering and defining the requirements for data to cater for business/finance business processes.
  • Defining requirements for data infrastructure to support reporting needs.
  • Creating and delivering regular data for insights reports adhering to governance framework and DevOps culture to ensure that development conforms to accepted guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Reporting systems experience, preferably Power BI.
  • Coding experience, preferably SAS and SQL.
  • Experience of data, reporting & analytics within a Credit Risk or similar function.
  • Good understanding in consumer credit, preferably in the sub-prime or online lending sector.
