Director of People

We are seeking an experienced Director of People to provide strategic leadership across our organization and motivate and develop an emergent HR team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to our ambitious and exciting strategy. As Director of People, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR leadership to make a significant difference in the lives of babies, children, and young people with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

You will be driven to make a difference and intrinsically aligned to our values, which shape and underpin everything we do at Noah's Ark Children's Hospice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR leadership to support the delivery of our three-year strategy, 'Making the Most of Every Day'
  • Motivate and develop an emergent HR team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to support the organization
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives
  • Ensure that our HR practices and policies are fair, equitable, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to support the development of our staff and volunteers
