About the Role

Adele Carr Recruitment - Business Support is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our client's finance team in Liverpool. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the Finance Director and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Finance Director and senior stakeholders with financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ensure month-end management accounts and reports are produced accurately and on time.
  • Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments.
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting.
  • Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with auditors to ensure satisfactory completion of audit.
  • Business partnering, support the wider team
Requirements
  • 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Knowledge of SORP accounting and Gift Aid.
  • Strong communication, analytic, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of MS Excel.
