Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Apprentice

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join our team at Warwick Independent Schools Foundation. As an IT Support Apprentice, you will play a key role in providing technical support to our staff and students, ensuring that our IT systems and services are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff and students
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of IT systems and software
  • Collaborate with the IT Team to resolve technical issues and improve IT services
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of IT incidents and issues
  • Participate in the deployment of new IT systems and software
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and tools
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve IT goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IT systems and software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working in an IT support role
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows Server
  • Experience working with Microsoft Teams
  • Experience working in an educational setting

Working Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:30pm and Friday 8am - 4:00pm.

Salary:

£14,085 - £16,393 per annum.

Future Prospects:

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
